NOTICE OF SPRING ELECTION

TOWN OF ROME

APRIL 5, 2022

Election Details

An election is to be held in the Town of Rome, on Tuesday, April 5, 2022. The following offices are to be elected to succeed the present incumbents listed:

Office Terms: The term for all offices is for two years beginning on Tuesday, April 19, 2022.

For Candidates: The first day to circulate nomination papers is December 1, 2021, and the final day for filing nomination papers is 5:00 p.m., on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, in the office of the town clerk.

Primary Election:  If a primary is necessary, the primary will be held on Tuesday, February 15, 2022.

Additional Information:  Acceptable Photo ID will be required to vote at this election.  If you do not have a photo ID you may obtain a free ID for voting from the Division of Motor Vehicles.

An election is to be held in Adams County in the towns, village, cities, wards, and election districts of the State of Wisconsin, on Tuesday, April 5, 2022. The following officers are to be elected: 

Judicial Officer:  One (1) Court of Appeals Judge, for the term of six years, to succeed the present incumbent listed, whose term of office will expire on July 31, 2022:

One (1) Circuit Court Judge for the term of six years, whose term of office will expire on July 31, 2022:

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that at an election is to be held in the School District of Nekoosa on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, the following office is to be elected to succeed the present incumbents listed. The term of office for school board members is three years beginning on Monday, April 25, 2022.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN, that a Campaign Registration Statement and a Declaration of Candidacy, must be filed no later than 5:00 p.m., on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, in the Nekoosa School District Office at 600 South Section Street, Nekoosa, WI.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN, that if a primary is necessary, the primary will be held on Tuesday, February 15, 2022.
