In order to assist in meeting energy costs, the federal government has developed the Energy Assistance Program. To find out if you qualify, or to apply, contact your county Department of Health and Social Services. Apply early to establish your eligibility and receive full benefits. Available Citizen Committee Appointments on the Lester Public Library of Rome

The Town of Rome is accepting applications, letters of interest and resumes to fill two open positions on the Lester Public Library of Rome Board commencing on January 1, 2023 for a 3-year term expiring on January 1, 2026. 

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Town of Rome resident.

If you are interested in applying for this position please submit an application, letter of interest and resume to the Town of Rome Administrator by noon on Friday, December 2, 2022.

Available Citizen Committee Appointment on Plan Commission

The Town of Rome is accepting letters of interest and resumes to fill a vacant position on the Plan Commission for a term that expires on May 1, 2025.

Committee members:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Town of Rome resident.

If you are interested in applying for this position please submit a citizen committee member application, letter of interest and resume to the Town of Rome Administrator by 12:00 pm on September 30, 2022. Deadline extended to November 30, 2022. 

Citizen committee member applications can also be picked up at the Rome Town Hall, 1156 Alpine Drive, Nekoosa WI.
